Information and Assistance staff
assist seniors and their family caregivers with questions about benefits and senior
services and act as "problem solvers" when complex or multiple problems arise.
They provide this comprehensive assistance by phone, by appointment at community senior
centers, and through home visits.
Many
times the information and assistance staff are called upon to help seniors and their
families when changes in health, finances or living arrangements make it necessary to
obtain supportive services in the home or to evaluate alternative living situations. There
is no fee for this service, but donations are gratefully accepted.
