Through collaboration with California Service Corps, Office of Disaster and Emergency Management, PASSAGES has been appointed as a Host Site for two AmeriCorps*Vista members. These special individuals work with our administrative staff and the Area 3 Agency on Aging to establish how PASSAGES clients, many who are isolated and/or homebound, can be better connected to local emergency/disaster preparedness programs and other available associated services.

AmeriCorps*Vista is dedicated to eliminating poverty by helping individuals and low-income neighborhoods make positive changes for themselves. Through AmeriCorps*Vista, ordinary people provide extraordinary service in more than 1,200 projects nationwide. Members serve full-time for a year in organizations and agencies throughout the country, working to fight illiteracy, improve health services, create businesses, increase housing opportunities, or bridge the digital divide.
