Transportation

Butte Regional Transit

Butte Regional Transit, otherwise known as the “B Line”, operates normal buses and has additional programs for the elderly and disabled. Click here to go to their website for schedules and fairs.

Other programs offered by Butte Regional Transit:

B-Line Paratransit Application

B-Line Paratransit is a shared ride service designed to meet the needs of seniors and persons with qualifying disabilities who are unable to use the B-Line fixed route services.

Dial-A-Ride Application
Dial-a-Ride service is a program operated by Butte Regional Transit and is for seniors (65+) and individuals with disabilities not found eligible for ADA paratransit service.

Merit Medi-Trans

Merit Medi-Trans provides non emergency medical transport for a fee. They will bill some insurances. For more information call 1-866-890-8690 or visit their website here.

Medical Transportation Services (METS)

Serving Tehama County. Volunteer drivers provide Non-emergency transportation to medical appointments for Tehama County residents who have been certified for the METS program (there is an application process).  Volunteer drivers are not trained and are not allowed to provide medical or personal assistance to METS passengers.
